Business Objective: Zurich American is a large insurance company with many product lines. An overall business objective was to increase product density (cross-sell) by capturing and routing information about each account to interested parties.
Solution
Zurich engaged Harmonic to develop an application which:

- Captured both Customer and Producer information (specifically location, policy and submission data) and allowed segmenting in various ways.
- Tracked contacts associated with Customers and Producers and captured information such as phone numbers, interests, etc.
- Search functionality allows users to receive changes to their search criteria directly to their mailbox.
- Tracked activity and captured information about correspondence, notes, lists etc.
- The application will be used by thousands of users and includes interfaces to SAP, Lotus Notes and multiple relational databases
