Community Service and Philanthropy
Harmonic Consulting believes in supporting the community, whether it be local, national, or global. We do what we can to help our fellow neighbors, our country, and the world around us.
Here are a few of the organizations that we support:
US Selective Service System – The Selective Service System maintains a system that, when authorized by the President and Congress, rapidly provides personnel in a fair and equitable manner while managing an alternative service program for conscientious objectors. Our President Brandon Acuff serves on the Illinois Selective Service Board.
Aurora Family Counseling Service – Aurora Family Counseling Service is a local community organization that helps those in need with counseling for drug and alcohol abuse, thoughts of suicide, or domestic violence. We attend their annual fundraising events, donate money, and we have also donated our time and IT services to assist in their growth and mission.
Habitat for Humanity – Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. They believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. We regularly donate money, time, and services to help build houses for needy families and support their mission.
FMSC – “Feed My Starving Children” is a nonprofit organization that provides free nutritionally balanced meals packed by volunteers to places with food scarcity or poverty. They believe that all children should have enough food to eat, and none should go hungry. We regularly donate time and money to the organization, including participating in their food packing sessions.
Special Olympics – The Special Olympics is a nonprofit organization that organizes sports training and athletic competition for intellectually and/or physically disabled people. They believe in providing Olympic-like sports experiences to those people, giving them a chance to demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share their skills and friendship with others. We financially support the Special Olympics.
