Senior UX/UI Design Lead

Stephen focuses his skills as a Senior UX/UI Design Lead on client web/mobile interactions, front end design, UX/UI frameworks and development. He is one of our go-to resources when we need to have an app or website design that functions as well as looks clean, beautiful, and amazing. Stephen has skills in many CMS systems as well as front-end design and programming skill in HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, SharePoint, Pega UI, mobile frameworks, and more. Stephen is an expert level architect and senior developer on modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular.js, and others.

As a UX/UI designer, Stephen ensures the interface and appearance of all of our developed websites and apps is intuitive, beautiful, and appealing. Years of experience in all kinds of visual design allow him to analyze Google Analytics for insights, build detailed wireframes that make development clear and easy, and lead the client into arriving at a visual design in the final product that they and their customers will enjoy.

Using a wide variety of skills in many technical frameworks, Stephen is a flexible design consultant who can make just about any site or app look good and conform to a company\’s branding in appealing and natural ways, or deliver a clean rendition of design for any site or app. Stephen also often is asked to train internal client resources on the best practices and build out their internal UX/UI staff skills after putting in a new front end design framework.

Jeff

Senior Infrastructure and Security Architect

Jeff provides us with a skilled ‘high power asset’ with his infrastructure and security architect skills. His abilities and knowledge as a security architect allows us to do complex on premise installations, repairs, or maintenance jobs, as well as managing network configuration and making security recommendations with expert insight. His skills with particular technologies include but are not limited to Symantec Backup Exec, Zabbix monitoring, Citrix firewalls and routers, custom VPN tunnels, and more.

Jeff has managed complex networking and firewall solutions, including custom VPN tunnels and enterprise network architecture. He created and managed a powerful backup scheme and also configured hardware and networking monitoring services based on Zabbix software.

Timothy

Software and Support Engineer II

Timothy’s unique role as both a software development engineer and support engineer keeps him very busy. His role as software engineer finds him working in a wide variety of software development, data integration, data processing, and visualization technologies including Microsoft Powershell, Microsoft PowerAutomate, SharePoint Designer Workflows, PowerBI, Microsoft Azure, IoT technologies, JavaScript/html/css, and more.

Timothy also works as a level 2 support engineer on our cloud and support teams, multitasking across a wide swath of our clients from various industry verticals, server farms, clouds, and technology stacks. He specializes in performing integration to tie disparate systems together. Timothy also does workflow automation programming, and consults with other senior developers and consultants to guide them on best practices and the feasibility or features of certain technologies. Timothy is also skilled at rapid research into new technologies and systems to identify key features and issues, and provide technical guidance and communication.

Timothy is a certified Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics/CRM, Azure/Cloud, and IOT developer. He wears so many hats and is able to context switch throughout the month, week, and day as driven by our client needs.

Timothy’s Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering with a minor in Computer Science degree from University of Illinois (at Urbana Champaign) and his many professional training courses, and certifications are certainly a great asset to our Harmonic staff and our clients.

Before joining us at Harmonic, Timothy gained experience working for a few technical and engineering startups at UIUC and web design companies such as Seraph Development Group.

Outside of work, Timothy enjoys fiction writing, gaming, and getting outdoors for a run when the weather is nice.

Baseer

Senior Application Developer/Architect

aseer’s position as a highly experienced Senior Architect and Software Developer allows him to leverage over 15 years of development experience ranging from custom websites and mobile applications to complex, web services based, Internet of Things (IOT) projects.

Baseer specializes on Javascript/mobile/modern frameworks, Microsoft .NET applications, custom app design, and web services based projects. Baseer also does database design and provides leadership and guidance to many of our other application developers, as well as works with our Front End Design teams to design and integrate beautiful visual designs into his projects. Baseer also is a SharePoint expert level developer.

Baseer’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems degree from Devry University and his Master of Business Administration – Information Technology degree from Keller Graduate School of Management, provide him with an excellent technical and business background to be able to translate client business requirements into technical solutions. He truly understands how systems and software works and explains it beautifully to our clients no matter the industry or system in question.

Before working with Harmonic, Baseer gained experience at Avanade and Grant Thornton among other companies.
